Invincible is everywhere!

Finally Invincible has arrived to Amazon and iTunes as well. However strange to say there are several differencies in the pricing... In contrast to CDBaby (17.99 $) , iTunes release costs 9.99 $ 11.99 $ , Amazon release costs 8.99 $. In addition you can buy there separate tracks for 0.99 $.

If you have any idea about the reason of different pricing, do not hesitate to share it with us..

@Feliz Lombriz

It doesn't happen a lot.  Quite odd.  I'm a little surprised by the way Invincible release was handled. But I'm not upset; it's awesome that they released something, even if the actual release was a little rough. :)

And today the album is $11.99 on iTunes. Odd. Maybe this stuff happens a lot and I just never have payed attention before.

The latest word from Thomas on a CD release:

"We are working with iTunes and Amazon right now to do higher quality MP3s and perhaps a physical CD with CDbaby. There will be more options for you soon!" - 5/11/10

So it's still up in the air.

Any idea about a future CD release?

Thanks for the info.

Amazon always manages to be a few dollars cheaper than iTunes for the same albums. For that reason I don't think I've ever bought anything on iTunes since Amazoncame out with their own mp3 downloads.

The initial $18 CDBaby price was kind of strange, but the album is definitely worth that much. If it were $18 at iTunes/Amazon I still would have bought it. Brilliant stuff.

How do the mp3 bitrates compare? Are Amazon and iTunes releases exactly the same quality?

CDBaby understood that they would not sell anymore cds, so their new price is $9.99

I have this silent idea that the cheaper version is going to sell much better.

Welcome to Hell Heaven! It's pretty interesting down up here!
