Five things we like about Thomas Bergersen's music
Hoy, hoy! There are many lists all around the net so why would be trailer music an exception. Let's start with five things we like about Thomas Bergersen's music. Credit goes to TMN's crew, friends and family.
- Unpredictable: You never know what will you hear in the next moment. When you think a song has reached its climax, nitro, and it reaches a new level. For example "Merchant Prince" @1.44, "Army of Justice" @0.44, or "Promise" @1.58.
- Innovative: In most trailer music the same old fashioned 'O Fortuna' style of choir can be heard. Thomas, on the other hand, has used Bulgarian folk choir, which is very different not only in language, but also in style from the typical choir. It fits into the structure of trailer music very well. For example: "Starvation".
- Uses Epic Lead Vocals. His songs featuring leading vocals are outstanding pieces as well, and offer some relaxing tune for our ears after 24hr of listening to epic choir music. For example: "Friendship to Last", and "Enigmatic Soul".
- Wide-ranging. Even if we depart from epic/action style Thomas excels. Just think of the horror compositions of Ashes or the song "Professor Pumplestickle" which is a great comedy track.
- Publicity. "Do you know what Nemesis [2] means?"

How do you know which songs were composed by Thomas? Is there any list which songs from TSFH are Thomas' and which Nick's?
Thomas is indeed an amazing composer, and he is the head of the pantheon I have in my basement where I pray to the trailer music gods a really rare and fantastic composer. It's great to see how much he loves his fans, and how much his already amazing work keeps evolving and becoming better.
Yet let's not forget TSFH's other Half, Nick Phoenix. Certainly, TSFH wouldn't be nearly as awesome without his contributions!
They also make pretty awesome combo moves. 'False King'-like.
Another thing you might want to add, that Thomas is very friendly towards his fans. He created the Nemesis II blog purely for us. He also points out that N2 is not done for profit but for us. He also answers our questions, and even sometimes talks to his fans. Despite all the uploading to youtube most of them seem to do.
EDIT: Cano! How could you forget "The Soul That Must Awaken"?
Let's not forget Nick Phoenix here:) "Fill My Heart", "Equus", some great tracks from Devil Wears Nada, "Master of Shadows", and recently "Fire Nation", "Ghost Brigades", "Ironwing" and "Kronos". The list goes on.

tjb is the preferred composer for most of the trailer music fans i think. btw, Tyr or another castmember, you could do a survey: who is your favorite compose, because"What would you bring to a deserted island?" is here for like 5 months? (i think i voted 3 or 4 times for this one...)

As about the rest, I agree. In my opinion Thomas is one of the best composers that lives today! Especially because his creativeness.
