List of sites related to trailer music: Final Installment

Here is the end of the endless list of sites related to trailer music! As you may know, everything has an end (there is one exception to this, but it is off-topic, unfortunately).

Three parts were added to the list. To begin with, music libraries. In addition to this, distribution sites. Most of these sites feature music that is accessible to the public, which will allow fans to explore catalogs and libraries as much as they want. Finally, a little bonus: blogs related to trailer music

To summarize from the beginning:

Please note that we do our best to keep the list permanently updated. Feel free to recommend any interesting site that isn't listed here yet, and notify us of any change of site URL  :)

Trailer Music - Composers' sites

Here is one more part of the list of sites related to trailer music: official composers' sites. The last part of the list (which includes music libraries and distribution sites) will come next week.

PS: To all the trailer music genius out there: this list isn't exhaustive, unfortunately... I do apologize if your site isn't here when it should be! I did my best to include all the sites I heard of, but some are probably still missing.

Trailer Music on Youtube

Here is the fourth part of the list of sites related to trailer music (to know more about this list, go here): official Youtube channels related to trailer music. Read more.

For those who missed the first parts of this list, here are the links:

The next part will come soon.

UPDATE: A lot of new links were added. Thanks to Rex Eternum for the contribution!

A list of official trailer music sites

The world of trailer music is flourishing and constantly growing, and it has become more and more present on the web over the last few years. There is now a profusion of all sorts of sites - from companies to composers, including distrubution sites and many others. In other words, it has turned into a real jungle. To help you find your way through this vast, complex, and truly amazing universe, and try to fulfill your endless quest in finding the best epic piece, here is a list of various sites. All of them are official and related to trailer music: music libraries, distribution sites, Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, composers' sites, Youtube channels, blogs, Soundcloud accounts...

Here is the first part of the list: Facebook pages. More will come soon; stay tuned!

Warning: this is only the first part of the whole list of trailer music sites. It is horribly long and you might think that there are too many sites here. However it is not exhaustive. I might also have forgotten some that are interesting. This is due to the fact that, as you probably already know, there are so many companies,  and three to four times more composers... It is hard to list all the interesting ones without adding each and every existing site in this world. Not all of them are worth a detour. Let's keep only epic music (not production music).

Exclusive trailer track only at TMN

Sound Adventures presented us with an exclusive trailer cue. This composition is used for a trailer promotion campaign of one of the biggest TV show called "Universum" for the Austrian National TV - ORF. Sound Adventures composed and produced the main signation music for that show which uses the same elements of this track. Please note, this music is _nowhere_ available yet, only here at TMN. Enjoy!

Hitchin' Yer Music to a Trailer: an AIMP panel discussion

Last week (Yes, I meant to post this when it actually happened) Six months ago, I attended a panel put on by the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP). It was titled "Hitchin' Yer Music to a Trailer", and was going to be all about the trailer business, and how music is related. This was actually part 2 of a similar panel held a little over a year ago, which I missed at the time. I'm going to do my best to recap what was discussed. With respect to those that spoke, I do hope I don't get anything wrong.

TrailerHead:Saga Review

Trailerhead:SAGA is the second installment of public releases from the highly prolific production music company Immediate Music. The album contains 14 powerful tracks selected from Immediate’s previously studio released Themes for Orchestra and Choir series one through three. For those that don’t know or in case this is your first review of an album of such, allow me to briefly explain just who Immediate Music are and what it is they do.

Immediate Music are a production music company based in Los Angeles, California who specialize in composing and arranging music to score trailers for major motion pictures. Their music has only ever been available exclusively for studios and trailer houses. With an ever growing fan base of this genre of music, a small potential niche on the commercial market opened up. With Immediate leading the way, they released their first public album in 2008 entitled Trailerhead of which Saga is the follow up.  Read more>>

Kerry Muzzey's albums available in lossless!

If there's one thing that makes Trailer Music fans angry, its the fact that so much of the music we love is only available as lossy mp3's from itunes or amazon. Usually, our only recourse is to turn bright green, grow enormous muscles and scream “HULK SMASH MP3!” before shoving our fists into our useless 7.1 speaker systems. It begins to get expensive in the long term.

Thankfully, Trailer Music and Trailer Music 2 composer Kerry Muzzey understands our frustration, and has launched his brand new online store. All of his albums are available for purchase as beautiful 16-Bit WAV Files. The songs have no DRM, and can be bought from anywhere in the world! While his Trailer Music Albums are the most obvious draw, he has other fantastic works such as Cinematica that are worth your while to listen to!
