Trailer Music Live 2: an update

We tweeted about it, but in case you missed it, Immediate announced the date and exact location of their upcoming Trailer Music Live concert, which will be in New York, NY. That's right; Immediate and Globus will be back on stage before you can say 'Europa!'

In response to a question about the venue on Trailer Music Live's facebook page, they said this:

"Feb 19th, Skirball Center for the Performing Arts at Washington Square (NYU). Tickets will likely go on sale Dec. 1. Of course, we will make an official announcement here when all is in place..."

So consider that the unofficial announcement of Trailer Music Live 2. Any New Yorker's out there? Anyone outside of NYC who would make the trip? Trailer Music Live is definitely a concert unlike any other.

Speaking of Globus, there's only 5 more days to submit your song, if you entered the Globus Songwriting Contest! Sadly, I don't think I'll be submitting anything of my own. Been a bit too busy doing other music assignments for class. I hope that all of you do though!

Globus, CotF, etc

Hoy, hoy! Besides setting up interviews with famous composers, we've some great announcements that were made in the past few days.

  • Ryan Amon is working on the new volume of City of the Fallen called 'Exsilium'. The album will feature 13 tracks and will be released in March. "The music will follow the epic war between the angels in heaven, resulting in Lucifer and his followers' fall to earth." Amon also mentions that he has plans to put a public album together in the future.
  • Globus' "Epic Live" CD has been released. Click here to buy it.

Immediate Plans

Hoy, hoy! As I read again Immediate Music’s latest announcements I realized they are worth much more consideration, here on TMN. Immediate Music revealedthat 3 Epic CDs coming over the next 3 months”.

As we already know that the first album will be Globus Live on January 18. The second will be a compilation from Immediate Music Library as they mentioned that they started choose the tracks on January 1st. 'Tho it's hard to believe that someone work on that day. Also IM is not very pleased with the name ’Trailerhead’ and opened to any suggestions. All in one Trailerhead 2 will be released in the next three months. The third album will be another release from Globus as it is claimed that they started working on it July 6th and started that it will be released early 2010. Probably these compositions will follow the style that was created by Epicon.

Something great is on our doorsteps and we see its signs: the promotional campaign started with the rework of Trailer Music Live’s website and with a trailer of Trailer Music Live. The trailer is very inspiring and it was very witty to put the definition of trailer music at the beginning in the good old Pulp Ficton style. The next three months will be very exciting and these are just the first three months of 2010. What next? Immediate Music signs more composers for Imperativa Records which means more epic music, but as they pen: “We're working hard to bring REAL and EMOTIONAL music to the market!!!”

2010 will be fine: At least 3 more epic CDs!

Hoy, hoy! Tho' I am really busy nowdays at the university I still keep one of my eye on trailer music news. So let's see:

  • X-ray Dog released a new album named 'Seeing Eye'.
  • Globus announced that the live CD of Globus concert will be released on the 18th  of January. "Just finished mixing the last of the tracks!! Off to mastering now. Fun stuff..."
  • Another news from Immediate Music: "3 Epic CDs coming over the next 3 months....starting with Globus Live on January 18. Pre-release offer on our website. And we're signing new artists as well. Busy time. We're working hard to bring REAL and EMOTIONAL music to the market!!!"
  • An interesting article on Film Music Mag pictures the death of composing.
  • Experimentalsounds.com revealed E.S. Posthumus 3rd album's name and its release date! Makara will contain 15 tracks and will be released the 2nd of February 2010. And those who intereseted what makara means, click. thx to shuyan & Tim
  • TML lunched a new website! thx to azras11
  • Thomas Bergersen confirmed that the so called "Blade Blade" track that is spreading amongst fans for a while now called "Black Blade". He also mentioned that "The albums [Nemesis2, Genesis, etc] will be available worldwide and be quite affordable, don’t worry. We are doing this purely to please our fans"

Trailer Music Live can travel to your city as well!

Hoy, hoy! It seems we don't need to wait that long to attend to a Globus concert like we had to do for the second one. Because Globus is planning further concerts all around the world and they need your suggestions where should they travel. As you can read on Facebook:

TELL US WHICH CITIES WE SHOULD COME TO ON OUR NEXT WORLD TOUR

Just one trailer question: when was the first world tour? ;) Altough I think there are so many other conditions when a concert is organized so don't be disappointed if your city will not host any Globus concert.

Immediate Music also posted an update on their Facebook page as well. It reads:

TELL US WHICH IMMEDIATE MUSIC SONG OR MOVIE TRAILER YOU LIKE THE MOST

Immediate Music is asking your opinion about their music.  Maybe for their upcoming 2010 release?  Or maybe they're just curious.

There are already 104 comments between the two updates!  Any readers of this site, have an opinion?  Comment below!

Update: Maybe the question narrowed to Paris, Brussal or London?
