Vendetta by Position Music is out on CD

Orchestral Series 6 - Vendetta, composed by Jo Blankenburg, is available as a physical CD - you can now grab a copy on FiXt Store. You also have the possibility to wait until it is on CDBaby (it shouldn't be long before it is there as well). The pack includes a CD with choir and non-choir versions of the tracks, and a DVD featuring 48k AIFF, 320 mp3 and 192 mp3 files for all the different versions of the tracks (main/ non-choir/ no percussion/ percussion only/ choir only). Visit our store for more information.

I got my own copy this morning : the packaging is beautiful and the album sounds fantastic in wav format. I can't decide which one is the most beautiful one - the packaging, or the album in wav. Whatever. I highly recommend you to buy it!

By the way, you can hear "Conquest of Antaria” in a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 featurette, "Dystopic" in a X-Men First Class featurette, and "Satorius" in a Harry Potter TV spot:

VENDETTA - New orchestral release from Position Music

Featuring Position Music's newest star composer, Jo Blankenburg, VENDETTA was recorded in the Czech Republic, London, and Detroit, with the mixing work done in Los Angeles - it's been over a year in the making and the result is breathtaking.

This is a ground-breaking album that elevates trailer score to a whole new level of sonic pleasure and goosebump-causing reactions. Lush strings, haunting vocals, subtle hybrid-rock elements and epic themes causing all synapses to fire off the basic human emotions in your being.

VENDETTA is available on iTunes now in both Full Versions and Non-Choir Versions. It is also available on Amazon.

We're pleased to be able to offer the first track from VENDETTA, "Dystopic," for FREE to TMN readers. Just enter your email below for the Position Music Orchestral newsletter and click the download link on the confirmation page.

WoW: Not that one!

Hoy, hoy! Probably everybody is familiar with the abbreviation of WoW. Right? Yeah everybody think of New Zeeland's annual art show: World of Wearable. This is the island's well-known fashion art show featruing clothing, jewerly works of designers form all around the world.

The show which is most likely a theatrical preformance has its own music composition which was composed this year by Jo Blankenburg. The song features orchestra with choral sound that's why I thought it worth for your consideration. I realy love the piano. Its tune reminds me to James Howard Shore's Lady in the Water. Click here for a video of the recording session of the main theme.

Jo Blankenburg's music features in the trailers of "How to train your dragon", "The Wolfman", and scored several movies. He also mentioned on his twitter that he has worked on his trailer music album in the last few monthes and the recording session is going to be in this month, September.
