"The Ten Best Movie Trailer Songs of All Time"

in

No, this list is not made by TMN staff. Actually, its from Seattleweekly's blog (thanks isacada1 for the heads-up). All the trailers can be watched on the blog linked.

1. "Lux Aeterna," Clint Mansell, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, 2002
2. "Wake Up," Arcade Fire, Where the Wild Things Are, 2009
3. "Paper Planes," M.I.A., Pineapple Express, 2008
4. "Lust for Life," Iggy Pop, Trainspotting, 1996
5. "Blue Monday," New Order, 24 Hour Party People, 2002
6. "Cells," The Servant, Sin City, 2005
7. "Walking on Sunshine," Katrina and the Waves, High Fidelity, 2000
8. "Town Called Malice," The Jam, Billy Elliot, 2000
9. "Playground Love," Air, The Virgin Suicides, 1999
10. "The Sound of Silence," Simon and Garfunkel, The Graduate, 1967

Honestly, the editor probably does not watch trailers too much or he does but has no idea about the music used for so that is why he picked the songs above. I would definitely come up with a better list. Would you?

We proudly announce, after lots of trying, sleepless nights and torment, our Rad io Station.  Any comments, questions, feedback, or suggestions please post HERE.

Please note this feature is still in a testing period.

A note from elendil from the forum topic:

"Please note that it's hosted on a personal computer, so the uptime is not 24/7 and listeners are limited to 5.  Stream is mp3@128k.

At the moment, only Future World Music is streamed, thanks to Armen Hambar"

I bet you got balls

in

Did you know that fans of production music are males with greater probability than females?

Here we summarized the age and sex distribution of fans. All the statistical data has been taken and analyzed from FaceBook pages of the following companies: Two Steps From Hell, Immediate music, Imperativa Records, City of the Fallen, Epic Score, Globus, Immediate, Groove addicts, Trailer Music Live and Trailer Music News. Thanks to Derek for collecting the statistics.

Total of 14 467 fans have been considered.

Furthermore there is an other interesting statistical value: the percent of active fans. Only one percent (1%) of total fans are active on FaceBook.
