Philippe Rey: Age Of The Fallen

Philippe Rey just released a new solo album.

After The Mythomelodeicon, here is Age Of The Fallen. Slightly darker than its predecessor, as the cover suggests, this new album offers epic, dramatic and emotional music, with orchestra, choir, and female vocals, sometimes blended with modern electronic sounds.

“I’m glad to present you my third album of epic music”, Philippe Rey says. “As my two previous albums (The Mythomelodeicon and Epic Music) it was entirely “handmade” in my home studio during the year 2012. I hope you’ll enjoy it.  Feel free to download and share my music but please do not use it in commercial situations without my permission, or contact me for further information. Thank you.”

The style of the album ranges from traditional epic and dramatic pieces (such as the title track, “Age Of The Fallen”, “Forgotten Kingdom”, “The Heart Of A Brave”), to inspirational ones, with beautiful female vocals (like “Lonely Journey” and “Outcast”), including celtic and ethnic cues (“Lady Of Avalon”), and hybrid/electro compositions (“Dragon’s Heart”).

The album cover artwork was made by Blaithiel.

Finally, feel free to follow Philippe Rey on FacebookYoutube and SoundCloud!
