Audiomachine – Chronicles
Announced several months ago, Audiomachine’s first public release, entitled Chronicles, is finally out. “We actually decided to do the public release because of the overwhelming amount of requests we got from all of you. We honestly weren’t thinking about that when we lanched the company – but, you are all pretty persuasive!” Audiomachine explains on Facebook.
Chronicles is a great compilation, which reunites some of the very best cues of the Audiomachine catalog. Many of them were featured in big movie advertising campaigns – I’m sure you all remember the famous Avatar trailer, using the wonderful “Akkadian Empire” and the now famous “Guardians at the Gate”.
Here’s a preview of Chronicles:

Note that a part of the proceeds will be used to support the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra. “We are donating a portion of the proceeds we receive from the sale of CHRONICLES to the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra (LAYO), a great group of young musicians from all over the Los Angeles area. You can read more about the group on our website.” All the more reason to buy Chronicles!
The album is available in digital format (mp3) as well as physical format (CD). “CHRONICLES is finally available for download on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby. And for the hardcore audiophiles – the physical CD is also available at CD Baby. Thanks for your patience. We hope you enjoy it!” Audiomachine says. Visit our ‘store’ for more information.

not Akkadian Empire, but Guardians of the Gate was used in the second part of the Avatar trailer.
